How to apply for a room in halls of residence

Joining us in September 2023?

Applications for halls of residence are now open.

New rooms now available! We are pleased to be able to offer some further undergraduate and postgraduate rooms:

  • 73-75 Penrhyn Road: A range of double en-suite rooms, as well as self-contained studios.

Halls of residence applications will be online, and you'll receive an email to inform you when this process opens. If you have not received this email, please check the information below first.

You will only be invited to apply for halls of residence if you are an applicant with either a Conditional Firm (CF) or Unconditional Firm (UF) offer for a full-time course at Kingston University, starting in September 2023. You must have accepted this offer to be eligible for your accommodation application. You will receive the halls application email within 48 hours of your offer acceptance.

If you believe you meet these criteria but have not received the email (and have checked your spam folder), please get in touch.

In order to secure your room booking, you are required to make an Advanced Payment of £200 within five days of selecting your room online. More information on how to make this payment will be provided when you are sent the invite to book your room.

You will also be required to set up a Recurring Card Payment (RCP) at this time for your three rent instalments through the academic year.
