I joined the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education at Kingston and St Georges University of London, as a senior lecturer, in 2014. I have a background in intensive care and prior to undertaking my academic role I worked in a variety of ITU specialities including neuro, general and cardiothoracic intensive care as a senior nurse and practice educator. In my current role I am a course lead and module leader for the Nursing Associate FdSc Apprenticeship and I teach and co module lead the ITU work based learning modules.
